“Brew a Batch of Fresh Coffee Anytime”
It would be more practical for regular coffee drinkers to have their own coffee maker instead of making several trips to the coffee shop. A good piece of equipment to have in your home is the Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe. This is a programmable machine that makes it more convenient for you to brew a single batch of coffee with a maximum of 10 cups.
Other features of the Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable coffee maker with Thermal Carafe include a clock/timer, LCD display, aroma switch, stainless-steel thermal vacuum carafe that has a no-drip spout, water reservoir with a 60-ounce limit, water filter and a de-scaling indicator that is electronic. The Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable coffee maker with Thermal Carafe has a control panel with simple buttons, which make it easy for you to make coffee with just a push of a button. You can even set its aroma switch to maximize the flavor when you are just brewing single cup or even three cups.
Another great feature of the Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Thermal Carafe is its vacuum carafe that has a generous handle and no-drip spout, which makes pouring easier. This carafe can also maintain the coffee’s temperature and flavor longer because of its double stainless-steel wall. The machine also has a pause-and-serve function that allows you to pour a cup during mid brew. When brewing is over, the machine makes an audible signal to signify it. Brewing is easy with Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Thermal Carafe since you can do it with a push of a button then just walk away.
The distinctive black and stainless steel design of the Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Thermal Carafe makes it look simple, modern and sleek, which would make a perfect addition to any household kitchen. This would fit any countertop with its measurements of 10″by 8″by 13″. The machine also has a warranty of one-year.
Problems with the Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe
The major complaint with the Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Thermal Carafe is that bubbles appear in the water level gauge, which makes it hard to tell how many cups you are brewing. This is a big problem since users want to know the amount of coffee they are making.
Another complaint with the Krups FMF5 10-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker with Thermal Carafe is that the design of its carafe makes it difficult to empty out the last serving of coffee. You have to either pour it on an angle or remove its lid to get that last cup. Although the carafe is made out of stainless steel, some users have complained that the coffee is still not that hot.

We have only had this pot for 7 days and suddenly it will not turn on. There is no response when the buttons are pushed, it just keeps blinking 88:88 and both the alarm and 1-3 pot icons remain lit.

I am very disappointed in my brand new 10 cup Krups! The water leaks all over the counter and I agree that it’s hard to pour the coffee out. I have only had it 4 days and I need to return it.

I had the same problem with the water resevoir tube crumble in my hands. I went to Home Depot and bought Polyethylene water tubing in the plumbing dept (3/8″ OD x 1/4″ ID) cut the length of necessary. It works fine! The 25′ length cost me $5.

I had other Krups too and i hate this one, the bubble problem, and that beep after 2 or 3 hours(even if its deactivated) and that other beep with a weird icon of warer or something. and i paid too much money for this one.

This is the worst coffee maker I’ve ever owned. Krups used to be my most favorite coffee maker. The carafe does not keep the coffee hot, even if I heat the carafe with hot water first. The coffee has cooled down before the automatic shut off even works. It’s impossible to pour from the carafe. The outside stainless steel (??) rusts, the water inidicator gets bubbles and makes it impossible to know how much water is in the resevoir.
I paid $160 for this but I’ll never buy a Krups again.

The lid to our carafe has to be removed to pour the coffee; I have soaked it in hot water – to no avail. Any suggestions?
I compensate for the bubbles by guess and by gosh simply by adding the appropximate amount of water that the bubble occupies.

We’ve had this model (black one) that has exactly this same problem with water bubble(s), and, it is very difficult to get out the last cup of coffee : you have to take the lid off and basically turn it upside down
