The breville bcg800xl is the first grinder I have ever owned so I don’t have any other machine to compare it to. Overall, I am really happy with this machine; it is not the quietest gadget in the world, but it is very easy to clean (like the brush that comes with it).
I am currently using it on the 6th finest setting, as trying to grind the coffee finer than this seems to make the machine choke. I really like the automatic calibration system as well.

I got the Breville bcg800xl as a replacement for our old Gaggia 8002 MDF that finally gave in after 7 years of daily usage.
First thing I noticed is that Braville bcg800xl is a lot quieter and grinds a lot faster.
This is arguably the best coffee grinder currently in the market.
