Krups XP5080 Grcic Espresso Machine

I wanted a machine that would do it all for me, since I don’t have a lot of time in my day. I don’t like to have to think about any food or drink that I prepare or do much cleanup, so when I stumbled upon the Krups XP5080 Programmable Espresso Machine Designed for Krups by Konstantin Grcic; I knew I had found my match. It also delivers my espresso more cheaply, so that I don’t have to spend extra money on espressos at Starbucks.

The Krups XP5080 Konstantin Grcic Programmable Espresso Machine helps me to avoid the morning rush, which is part of why I adore it. I got tired of standing in line, half-asleep, waiting for my coffee, shelling over four dollars a drink. While the Krups Konstantin Grcic Programmable Espresso Machine cost a fair amount (you can find a great deal toward the end of this review for less than $200 –I got mine for $280!), I consider it worth the investment. Essentially, I paid for a reason not to spend extra time and money getting my coffee prepared.

Krups XP5080 Programmable Espresso Machine Product Features:

  • Works for coffee beans (ground) and pods
  • Various size and strength options
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Warming tray for cups
  • Stainless steel milk container

Honestly, I feel like I’m getting more out of the espresso machine than I would if I bought coffee. Two of my favorite features include the warming tray for cups and the stainless steel milk container. For a luxury experience, I can pre-warm my cups to an optimal temperature, which is way better than winging it in the microwave. And anytime I want, I can attach the stainless steel milk container and turn my espresso into a cappuccino. The best part about the milk container is that I don’t have to fill it up for each use; I can put it in the refrigerator when I’m not using it.

I’ve got a picky family, but most are coffee lovers. They love the programmable option on the machine. Some like double strength, some oversized, and some espresso. I prefer a single strength myself, being a coffee “lightweight”. There’s thermostat and pressure gauge that is programmable, so you can adjust your coffee to exactly the way you like it. I found options that I wouldn’t have been able to try in a store. The programmable aspect is definitely one the best assets of the machine. The Krups XP5080 Grcic Programmable Espresso Machine is pretty efficient, so we can all get our personalized coffee each morning without waking up too early or running late to work. And, as a bonus, we can drive to work perky and alert.

As far as convenience goes, the coffee machine can’t seem to do enough for me. It’s dishwasher safe, which saves me a lot of time and hassle every day. I hate washing dishes, especially more complicated pieces of equipment, and the fact that I can just throw this in the dishwasher tickles me. If you do end up switching coffee brands between uses, you may have to wash it by hand, but otherwise, there’s no reason why you can’t throw it in the dishwasher and let your work be done for you.

The Krups XP5080 Grcic is also compatible for both ground coffee beans and coffee pods. In a pinch, I can just stick a pod in there and get my coffee almost instantly! My family all has different coffee brands and preferences, so this machine makes it easy for all of us to get exactly what we want out of our coffee machine. There won’t be any more fighting over who chooses the coffee in my household. Forget about the new pair of earrings or video game you’ve been wanting. Go for the Krups XP5080 Grcic Programmable Espresso Machine, and you won’t be disappointed.
