My wife and I bought one about 2 years ago, we love it. It makes the best coffee and the pot keeps it hot for many hours, still as fresh as it was the minute it was made.

If it ever breaks we will buy another one.

Hi- Vinegar and water are fine to clean it, always empty it out if you will be gone for more than a week or so- there is water that stays in the tank after each pot.Great coffee maker!

Hi,
I grew up with the Moccamaster, (Norway) and there is a Coffemachine cleaner, you pour it into the water reservoir and let it run, then clean water 1 or 2 times. It helped for me. I don't know what's available for cleaners here in the US, but I'm sure that it's possible to find. Try some of the Fine food stores. Unfortunately I don't have a Moccamaster her in the US, might have to get one!

Hope this helped.

HI I have a techivorm mocca master which I love, but lately the coffee is tasting sour and flat. I tried a commercial coffee pot cleaner and it's not much better- any ideas?
