I had a mild MS attack last year that left me with mild-moderate pain in my arms that comes and goes. I've performed tests with coffee and found that after a few days of having a reaonsbly strong coffee in the morning, the pain becomes much worse. I think it's caused by the constant muscle tension caused by caffeine (made worse by ms) which leads to very sore, fatigued muscles.
When I don't drink coffee and instead hydrate myself and get plenty of good sleep, the symptoms disappear.

i personally find that coffee could be good for ms.to be illogical in the big picture.First off some of the highest rates of coffee consumption are in placeswhere ms is rampant.if coffee were of any benefit there would be reduced cases of ms in those countries. If ms affects mostly northern european women it would be more likely that caffiene would be toxic to women of northern european descent.Quite contrary northern european women are extra sensitive to chemicals-of which cofee is.A naturally occurring pesticide that ATTACKS THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM IN INSECTS.I wouldn't be surprized at all if the poison is a mild remedy though. The remedy for coffee headaches are more coffee.THE REMEDY IS NOT THE POISON-it just looks like it.Coffee drinking in ms patients should most definitely be studied.I think it causes their death.Due to caffienne sensitivity -ALLERGIC TO COFFEE!!!!!I developed symptoms of caffienne poisoning myself and when i quit i felt the pain in my SPINE!!!!!!!I am of northern european ancestry and its almost exactly the same as anaphlactic shock or septiceamea.MS is almost identical to poisoning from caffienne. The study should include ALL SOURCES OF CAFFIENNE INCLUDING MIDOL AND PAINKILLERS THEY TAKE>THIS IS A SERIOUSELY OVERLOOKED SILENT KILLER.
