They told me this was happening to my particular unit but because it was just over a year old my option was to pay another 150$ for a refurbished unit. Service has been poor and I suspect they are marketing a substandard machine. I'll never buy another Nesspresso machine and you should think twice if you're thinking about the same. I took it back the next day. I've tested a few more in the store since and they are all the same. I'm not impressed. But they have done a good job marketing it, so it seems most believe it to be perfect. I don't even find it acceptable much less perfect.
