Been using this K.A. coffee maker for 6 weeks now and we have not had a good tasting cup of coffee from it yet!!!There is a flat flavour associated with each newly brewed coffee - only way i can drink it is to use sugar (have always drank black coffee)
Is there someting wrong with our machine????
How do we correct this situation???

Problems with the maker - 1)It spills; 2) error message with electronics; 3) its beeps un necessarily, and 4) the carafe breaks. Coffeemakers have only been around for over 50 years - and manufacturers still cant get them right! This maker is junk. Mine is brand new and I just brewed cofeee all over my kitchen because the pot/trigger mechanism is poorly designed. The pot must not only sit on the burner, it must be pushed all the way in to triger the drain button. I guarantee the enginner that designed this machine has never had to use it!

Where can I purchase a replacement glass carafe for my Kitchenaid 10 cup Programmable Coffee Maker...Model # KCM5110B? Please email a response. I have had it less than a year and the glass carafe has broke already.

Thanks!

Both complaints are true.
You wake up and turn on the pot, and get an err4
message...you have to unplug it for 24 hours to get it to work again.
Sometimes it clogs, and coffee and grinds are all over and down the front of the counter.
I just threw it away after a year...now I'm happy.
