Hamilton Beach 47665 BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffee maker

Every morning, during the family breakfast, my family and I almost always have coffee ready to pour. We love the delicious taste of coffee in the morning and we are delighted with its aroma which wafts through the entire house. But what we do not like about coffee is that it can stain the fabric on our table making it difficult for laundry. This is due to the coffee spill when pouring coffee from the coffee pot. But with the introduction of Hamilton Beach 47665 BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffee maker, spilling was never our problem again because this coffee maker simply doesn’t have a carafe, which means no pouring, and no spills.

Hamilton Beach 47665 BrewStation coffee maker comes with unique features. As mentioned, it has no carafe, and no hotplate that may cause the roasting of coffee, spoiling the taste of a fresh coffee. It has an enclosed brewer system that makes coffee hot until it is ready to serve. It contains an insulated thermal lined coffee tank which maintains the temperature for brewing. It has a push button to dispense 12 cups of freshly brewed coffee.

The design is good. It is 6 x 8 x 17 inches and that makes it handy and can be placed in a small kitchen cabinet. And it has one year warranty. And the plus factor is that when I used this coffee maker the first time, the coffee did not taste like plastic-flavored, unlike the other coffee makers that I used. The taste of coffee is seasoned and brewed to make my day great every morning.

Our laundry woman did not worry anymore about coffee spills. Plus, the delight of our family is assured by the great taste of coffee that Hamilton Beach 47665 BrewStation Plus 12-Cup Automatic Drip Coffee maker produces. This coffee maker makes it all easy and delightful for us all.

i just bought a Hamilton Beach BrewStation 12 cup coffee pot….had to replace the old one, same model…this new one tastes of plastic horribly. Brewed hot water through it 18 times and still have a horrible plastic taste in coffee. Will be returning to store and am going to try antother brand!!!!!!

Have had this coffee maker for months. It brewed an excellent cup of coffee for a long time, but recently this horrible plastic taste has rendered the coffee maker useless. I clean it with vinegar, etc., as directed, and sometimes the plastic taste is gone, but it is unpredictable and does not correlate to whether I’ve recently cleaned it or not.

Too bad; it’s been one of the nicest coffee makers ever otherwise.

    Would not purchase again.

Just got ours and will find out if it has the plastic taste or not, haven’t actually used it yet, but so far I like the idea of not having that glass pot, that always gets broke.

  4. Jennifer M Says:

When I first got this, it brewed an excellent cup of coffee. But..every since I followed their directions for cleaning it now brews UNDRINKABLE coffee. I have no idea what happened. I’ve tried to flush it by just brewing plain water through about 20 times and the bad taste is still there. It’s past the time I can return it to the store, so I have no idea what I am going to do.

We replaced a earlier version with this model, still has a horrible plastice taste after several cleanings. We also brew our tea through it and can’t stand the taste. Replacing with a glass model.

Well, I hope I dont joner myself by saying this.., but I just purchased this coffee maker 4 days ago and there has been no leaks, no plastic taste. The only adjustment that I had to make was the amount of coffee I used compared to the Mr. Coffee maker I threw in the garbage. As an example, to make 8 cups of coffee in the Mr. Coffee machine took about 5 tsps, where in the new machine it takes 7 tsps. However, the coffee in the new machine is very delicious.

In the past 2 years we have owned two of these. after about 18 months the gasket began to leak in the first one. So not so bad. The second one after just over a year doesn not leak, but it constantly has the “Cln” sign on…ever after multiple cleanings.. I am guessing this is a computer error.

We have never had the plastic taste and it uses LESS grounds than othe rmachine if you use teh paper filters

  8. Pat T Says:

I replaced my less than 1 year old Cuisinart with the Brew Station…..love it. At have the price I use less coffee and have had none of the “taste” problems as mentioned above. In fact I love it so much, I have purchased a second one for a “just in case” gift.
