Despite the mouthful of a name, this $20 grinder leaves a decidedly small footprint on your kitchen counter and chews through your coffee beans in no time flat. This model is far from a new piece of coffee making equipment. In fact, it’s been around for more than fifteen years, but it still sells well because you just can’t improve on basic functions performed well, for an inexpensive price.

The Krups Fast Touch stands about 6 inches tall (with the lid in place), 5 inches wide, and has an oval shape to it. In a sleek black color scheme, it goes with most kitchens, but the important part of this grinder is its performance. It gives you up to 15 cups of java (if you believe the marketing hype), though casual coffee drinkers won’t want to overfill it.
