That's like calling the grill cook at McD's a chef (no insult intended, it's a hard job). A barista should be able to brew to the customer's exact desire, creating an individually created cup by balancing acid, roast, richness, aroma, and flavor. At home we tend to brew a pot of coffee based on the guests present. My parents like a different brew that my children. Am I a Saturday morning barista?
