Hi, I have the same issue. I only have had this machine for 3 months, I have cleaned, descaled and followed the manual to a T. The lights just keep flashing and it won’t brew. I, like M Wright bought a Bosch and it is GREAT. The Braun is terrible, and so is the customer service. They are hard to contact and won’t do anything. Please let me know if you have any idea how to get it replaced, as it was expensive.

Do not purchase the Braun, Tassimo machine whatever you do. I’m glad Bosh is now making the Tassimo, I had to purchase one after my Braun machine broke 4 times (I gave up paying to repair it). Beware, the light keep flasing and it may or may never turn back on. No problems to report with the Bosh Tassimo unit. Had it a year and love it. Braun had terrible customer service and a lousy machine, beware of purchasing their products.

you need to clean the sight glass where the barcode is read from the tdisc. its dirty.

In reply to those who have written about finding a manual. Go to http://www.tassimodirect.com, which was easy to find online. You can print the entire manual, which is small, or just read everything in the care of this machine. If you don’t follow cleaning instructions to a “T” (literally) you probably will have problems! You MUST use their manual like a Bible & replace any parts that become defective. My Tassimo is GREAT; never a problem! I know many, many others who love theirs, too. It is not just a plain old coffee machine you can “let go” and think it will keep working. You must regularly clean & follow instructions. I’m sure there are lemons, but if someone has gotten 3 machines in a row that don’t work I’d say it is the USER’S fault in not maintaining it properly and not Braun’s problem. Learn about your machines & take care of it properly. They are VERY EASY to use, clean, & operate. Otherwise just buy yourself a cheapie coffee pot that usually runs for a long time without maintaining it. Good luck!

My tassimo only fills about 60ml of water and then i have to top the rest up manually, is this right? i was given the machine and never had one before.. any answers..thanx

I’ve had my Braun Tassimo machine for over three years now, and I’ve had no problems with it. It’s a great little machine. I’ve used the Maxwell House brand T-discs, the Latte, Cappucino and the regular coffee, as they are cheaper than the Gevalia brand. Also, the new Starbucks Primo Latte discs are really good too, but they’re the most expensive of all the discs. I love this machine!

On my third Tassimo Braun in three years. They just sent me a replacement one and it broke three weeks later. No flashing lights just dead and a pool of water. In the past they suggested to unplug for a while and then replug in. Never worked, these machines are horrible.

i have had this beverage system for a couple of years it is not reliable breaks down alot and you get the run around when you try to get repairs
