I just purchased a Brew N’ Go. Poured water in – started it up (Power lever doesn’t stay down). Nothing came out. I looked inside and the filter and water resoirior was full. Then I noticed there is no hole at the bottom of the filter holder. How is the water supposed to come out. Am I supposed to cut off the little piece sticking out in the plastic container?

Does this coffee maker use single serve cups to make coffee? Or do we need to add powder coffee from a bag?

Walmart sells a 16 oz. stainless steel mug manufactured by Copco. It’s a little shorter and wider than the original, but it works great. And, you can snare one for around $5. Hope this helps someone.

Found the replacement mug at the previously mentioned site for ~$28…lol…I can buy a brand new unit from Amazon for ~$15!

I don’t know if anyone answered this yet, but the usual adapter you would use for a hair dryer or curling iron should work for this as well.

I bought one of these a year ago to use at work, because I only like flavored coffee, and it has worked flawlessly so far. I did see mugs at a dollar store that were identical-minus the B&D logo. I usually use bottled water, and I have actually never cleaned the unit. The only problem I occasionaly have is getting the light to stay on – so I just hold it down until it does.

According to the instructions, replacement parts can be obtained by calling 1-800-738-0245. Travel Mug (Part # 175707-00) and Stainless Steel (Part # 175890-00). Hope that helps!

This usually happens if you use hot water instead of cold water. You must use cold water for it to perculate.
